Morven Davis joins the Royal High School Preservation Trust with over 25 years Global Drinks Industry experience, having worked in a variety of Commercial, Strategic and Project Roles in FMCG companies, including Diageo. With recent expertise in delivering complex Project and Programme management for high-value and prestigious Whisky Visitor Attractions including Johnnie Walker Princes Street and several Distillery Brand Homes in Scotland. Morven is an Accessibility and Inclusivity advocate and joins with previous Trustee experience. As a resident of Edinburgh, she has a special interest in the preservation and regeneration of historical buildings within the city.

Kirsty has over 13 years of experience in administration and business support, having worked across multiple departments including six years of expertise in finance. Passionate about helping businesses thrive, Kirsty is now focused on supporting Trustees with her skills and knowledge.

Kate Smith

Director of Development
Kate joined as Director of Development at the start of 2024 to lead fundraising for RHSPT. Kate has over 20 years experience raising funds for cultural, children’s and international development charities. She has led multi-million pound capital fundraising campaigns for the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh, and Seamab care and education. She was formerly Director of Fundraising and Communications for Children 1st, Scotland’s national children’s charity and Head of Fundraising for the Prince’s Trust in Scotland.
